Aerie Real Estate Information

Aerie is a neighborhood of Park City, Utah, a city that is home to a full-time population of around 7,500 and a much larger population of tourists and visitors. It is situated on top of a mountain between Old Town, Prospector Square, and Lower Deer Valley, in the heart of the city. Because of its location atop the mountain, it can be a bit cooler and breezier than other areas of the city.

The mountaintop setting gives the location great views of the lower portions of the city and of the ski resorts in the area. Park City is home to three major ski resorts, some ranked as the continent's best. Homes in Aerie range from around $1.6 million to $4.75 million, while condos range from about $1.2 million to $1.3 million. Land, if available, is usually around $500,000. The condos that exist in the Aerie neighborhood are situated in the April Mountain subdivision.

The location gives residents of Aerie privacy, with some homes a mile from the city's downtown, and some of the largest homes in Park City are atop this mountain. Park City is home to such large events as the internationally known Sundance Film Festival, the Art Festival, a Summer Concert Series and the Jazz Fest. In January, the city celebrates a two-week long Winterfest, with concerts, winter sports competitions, fireworks and an ice sculpture competition.

The city has enough lodging for more than 23,000 and attracts thousands of visitors, particularly in the winter months. The area is served by the Park City School District, which has  four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.
