Old Ranch Road Real Estate Information

The Old Ranch Road neighborhood is a community in Park City, Utah, that is more rural and residential. The community consists of only houses, with no condos, most of which border the Swaner Nature Preserve, with views of the area and the ski slopes. Though just minutes from the heart of Park City, this community has a more rural feel, and many of the residents raise horses. 

Subdivisions within the Old Ranch Road area include Quarry Mountain Ranch, Treasure Mountain Estates, Willow Creek Estates and Shadow Mountain. Homes range from $1.25 million to $7.65 million, with the average somewhere around $2.5 million

Park City is a famous destination in Utah, known for its three major ski resorts, two of which were sites for many of the Olympic events during the 2002 games: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons Resort. The Park City Transportation Department operates a bus system offering connection points throughout the city. Visitors can take a stroll down Main Street, where 64 Victorian buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, or grab a drink at a watering hole, as Park City has more bars per capita than any other city in Utah. 

Park City is also well known as being home to the country's largest independent film festival, the Sundance Film Festival, where many independent film have been discovered and thus achieved commercial success. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities, as well as a skate park, ice skating arena, racquet club with two pools, tennis courts, and youth and adult recreational programs and clubs. In January, the city celebrates a two-week long Winterfest, with concerts, winter sports competitions, fireworks and an ice sculpture competition. Children living here are served by the Park City School District with four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.
