Summit Park Real Estate Information

The Summit Park neighborhood of Park City, Utah, lies in the city's northwestern area near Interstate-80. The community's close and easy access to the interstate affords its residents quick trips to nearby Salt Lake City, ideal for residents who must commute there for work or school. Much of the neighborhood lies in a thickly forested area, with trees and foliage surrounding the homes  for a picturesque background, and many of the homes here are cabins.

Summit Park sits in Parley's Summit, a mountains pass that divides Park City and Salt Lake City, and next to Pinebrook and Jeremy Ranch. Much of the neighborhood is located at an elevation of around 7,000 feet above sea level. Both condos and houses are available here, with homes here ranging in value from about $240,000 to $900,000, while condos are consistently $250,000. Recently, homes have sold for average prices in the high $300,000 range.

Summit Park is within just minutes of downtown Park City, a thriving, historic downtown area chocked full of  stores, restaurants, bars and nightlife and art galleries. The downtown area can be reached via the city's complimentary bus system. Summit Park is also just minutes away from the world-class skiing that can be found at any of Park City's three major well known ski resorts, Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons Resort.

The community is located within the Park City School District with four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.  For recreation, Park City has a skate park, ice skating arena, racquet club with two pools, tennis courts, and youth and adult recreational programs and clubs. In January, it celebrates a two-week long Winterfest, with winter sports competitions, fireworks, concerts and an ice sculpture competition. Park City is also well known as being home to the country's largest independent film festival, the Sundance Film Festival.
